I took this photograph of the beautiful and extremely elegant Erin O Connor for the Gloss Magazine, a glamorous Irish Sunday supplement that comes out once a month. The shoot took place in Chanel on Bond street and Erin wore couture. We had a brilliant team including celebrated makeup artist Kay Montana. Erin was so chatty and friendly that I had to drag myself off the sofa to get started! Once we did, she was art in motion, making the most wonderful photogenic shapes for the camera.
This is beautiful Ching He Huang, a TV Chef and food writer who specialises in Chinese cuisine. I photographed her for Red Magazine for a feature about Sunday rituals. Her ritual is to eat at the Goldfish Chinese restaurant in Hampstead. The food there is delicious and during the shoot we got to sample it, which is always a bonus! Ching He Huang was really charming and easy to work with.
I photographed the irrepressible Richard E Grant for Tatler in the screening rooms at the Soho Hotel. Richard was much taller in real life than I imagined, full of life, impossibly charming and quite naughty! I think my cheeks remained a brilliant shade of crimson throughout the shoot, much to the amusement of the Tatler team!
I photographed the wonderful gardener Alys Fowler for Red Magazine for a story about Sunday rituals. Her ritual was to bake fresh bread and listen to the Archers. We turned up to the shoot on a really cold snowy day and Alys made us the most delicious porridge. I absolutely love the fact her dog is wearing a jumper in this shot and all the colours in the image blend perfectly.
I took this dreamy photograph of Natalie Clein, a well known and respected cellist, for Red Magazine.
